How we began…

1960

We started as a professional business co-founded by two partners. We defined ourselves as a serious and capable company eager to participate in the progress and development of our country, Guatemala.

1963

We positioned the company towards the  development of buildings and  residences including concrete pavement in rural Guatemala.

Our Legacy…

1969

Our main activity turned to integral road construction works, including earthworks movement, bridges and minor drainage systems.

1975

Constructora Nacional, S.A. was incorporated.

Today, we have over 950 employees and more than 300 units of heavy equipment.

 

We have become one of the leading infrastructure construction companies in Central America, based on our achievements our strategies aime to maintaine a high degree of technification and managing sustainability going through processes such as  obtaining international certifications such as ISO 9001.­­

 

The Regional Organization of Construction Assosiations and Chambers of Central America and the Caribbean (ORDECACC), who awards outstanding entrepreneurs in the region, recognized our achivements as Constructora Nacional S.A, giving us the highest award, wich was recived by one of our founders in 1998. We had the privilege of being again granted the same distinction 16 years later in 2014.  We are proud that we have made a difference towards in generating well being, sustainability and new job opportunities for our community.

More than 3,000 km of roads built on asphalt and hydraulic pavement.
